Time Management Workshop

Students with ADHD often struggle managing time, planning ahead and prioritizing tasks.  Students can at times procrastinate thereby putting assignments, projects and tests off until the last minute, making quality completion difficult.  This can lead to students feeling isolated and believe they are the only one encountering difficulty.  When participating in this time management group class, students realize their struggles and learn how to view time as a resource that can serve them.  They also learn they are not unique and like others, they can learn how to improve.  Group sessions are designed to teach students executive functioning skills and create an environment in which to practice them.

Included:
  • 8 hours of direct live instruction in how to:
    • Organize materials (hard copy and online),
    • Manage time, plan ahead & prioritize
    • Study efficiently
    • Evaluate performance and set academic goals
    • Think flexibly
    • Self advocate
